BannerDrop® FAQs
How much does the BannerDrop® weigh?
The BannerDrop machines weigh approximately 25 lbs.
How is the BannerDrop® built?
The machines consist of a tubular motor inserted into
an aluminum tube and a mechanical system that controls galvanized steel cable coiling upon the tube.
All of this is enclosed into a 5" x 5" x 48" Aluminum Pocket.
How is the BannerDrop® powered?
The unit comes standard with a 12 foot cord and three-prong standard 110V plug. The lifting capacity of the standard unit is 35 lbs.
A Heavy Duty model is available that can lift 140 libs.
Battery-Operated machines are available as well, but are limited to a 15 lb. lifting capacity.
How is a banner attached to the BannerDrop®?
Two cables hang down from the unit to connect to the banner or poster. The unit will come with a standard aluminum extrusion
which accepts a 1/4" diameter dowel rod inserted into pocket at the top edge of the banner.
How do you control the BannerDrop®?
The units are operated with a small handheld RF Transmitter similar to a garage door opener. Top limits, bottom limits and
one pre-set display height can be programmed and pre-set. When the banners need to be changed, the BannerDrop unit will
lower the banner up to 60 feet for easy changeout, then raise it back to the pre-set display height with the click of a button.
What is the warranty on the BannerDrop®?
1 year limited warranty.
